The shawl is anchored by a small, softly rendered corner buta that lends the composition a quiet, understated presence. Its restrained scale allows the field to remain open, giving the design a sense of lightness and ease. The borders depart from conventional floral or vine formats, instead featuring a series of small hexagonal units, each set with miniature floral motifs. This geometric framing introduces a distinctive visual texture, offering a fresh and unusual interpretation within the traditional language of Kashmiri shawl design.
