Layali Al Muharraq, Bahrain | December 2025

We bring Al Sadu and Kashmir Loom’s collaborative collection to Bahrain’s cultural festival in the historic Muharraq street. The collection showcases Kashmir’s regional craftsmanship, inspired by Bedouin’s Sadu weaving. Presented at the festival, it contributes to the ongoing dialogue around craft traditions and their evolving expressions. The collection reflects on a shared creative journey, shaped through dialogue, research and the exchange of ideas. December 13 - 18.

Studio 7, Doha | December 2025

Studio 7 is a concept store that offers a new retail experience for both designers and customers alike. At this space, we will showcase Al Sadu and Kashmir Loom's collaborative collection, inspired by the Bedouin craft of Sadu weaving. A coming together of cultures, traditions and creativity. December 7 - 11.

Woven Legacies, Istanbul | November 2025

Hosted in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Istanbul, the event highlights India’s longstanding textile traditions through antique pieces and contemporary works made with age-old techniques. The gathering brings together voices from the craft and design community for dialogue on cultural exchange and sustainable practice. Kashmir Loom will showcase a selection of heirloom-quality and vintage shawls, accompanied by a talk from Co-founder Asaf Ali on bridging the past and present. November 27 - 29. Metrohan, Istanbul.

Sadu House, Kuwait | November 2025

We are returning to Sadu House for our annual showcase. The institution continues to inspire us with its focus on craft knowledge and creative exchange, and remains a meaningful space for our collections. Discover our finest Kani and Sozni shawls, new Ikat coats, embroidered chogas and contemporary wraps. Nov 24, 25, 26 at Sadu House, Kuwait. Visiting hours: 10 am–2 pm, 4–8 pm.

Sarawak WEFT Forum, Malaysia | November 2025

The World Eco-Fibre & Textile (WEFT) Forum, founded in September 1999 in Kuching, Malaysia, is a biennial event that promotes knowledge and networking around natural fibres and textiles. Our Co-Founder, Asaf Ali, has been invited to speak at this year’s Forum — Session 3: Natural Fibres — on 14th November, from 4 to 5 pm. He will share insights on Kashmir’s golden fibre, Pashmina, and our innovations with it. Kashmir Loom will also participate in the fashion gala, and international exhibition and bazaar.

Showcasing a limited selection of Kani and Sozni shawls, pashmina and woollen chogas alongside our contemporary collection of shawls — each featuring Kashmir’s heritage crafts and our signature design aesthetic.

Sadu House, Kuwait | November 2024

Al Sadu Society & Kashmir Loom came together in a collaboration of cultural exchange and creativity. By blending age-old traditional weaving craftsmanship from Kashmir with contemporary expressions of Sadu weaving of Kuwait, they worked towards the safeguarding of artistic traditions through contemporary exploration and innovation.

AD Design Show, Mumbai | September 2024

7 crafts. 7 craftspeople. Kashmir Loom was invited for an exclusive presentation of Kani Pashmina weaving by our master weaver Fayaz Ahmad Wani at Karigar Pavilion at AD Design Show. Fayaz, who has collaborated with Kashmir Loom since 2004, demonstrated the intricate art of shawl weaving.

Selvedge World Fair | September 2020

The first-ever virtual Selvedge World Fair, hosted by Selvedge Magazine, with over 100 artisans from around the world celebrating cloth, culture, and creativity. This immersive global craft experience had show and tell sessions with artists, online craft workshops, and podcasts, along with the shopping experience.
