This jaaldar shawl is composed of flowing foliage vines that spread across the surface in a continuous network. Small, delicately rendered leaves emerge along the vines, adding texture and movement to the composition. Set against a rich red ground, the black embroidery creates a striking contrast that brings clarity to the design. The interplay of colour and fine detailing gives the piece a strong visual presence while retaining the elegance characteristic of Kashmiri needlework.
