This deep brown shawl draws inspiration from vintage Shale Bandi shawls — rare collectibles known for their honeycomb floral arrangements. Crafted using the traditional Kani weaving technique, an ancient Kashmiri craft renowned for its intricate detail and labor-intensive process, it is woven by hand using small wooden bobbins called kanis. Artisans interlace coloured threads with remarkable precision to form elaborate motifs — a process that can take months, sometimes over a year, to complete a single piece. The result is a true work of wearable art that adds an air of regal elegance to any ensemble.
