This palledar shawl, crafted using the age-old sozni embroidery of Kashmir, draws inspiration from the floral butas of the Mughal era—motifs that once adorned the shawls and sashes of the time. The design features variegated flowers arranged in a bouquet with a vase-like base. This quintessential Mughal motif is reminiscent of royal design palettes and regal charm of the 18th and 19th centuries—now beautifully reimagined on this shawl. The flowers, rendered in varying colours, lend a vibrant energy to the piece, enhancing its visual richness and appeal.
