The palla of this shawl is composed of opulent botehs arranged in a staggered formation, placed closely alongside one another to create a dense and flowing visual field. Their layered rhythm gives the terminal panel a sense of movement while retaining a strong decorative presence.
A distinctive border featuring a slender zigzag bail frames the composition, introducing a subtle geometric contrast to the otherwise organic motifs. The field is scattered with small butis, echoed again along the length in a narrow border of similar motifs, creating continuity across the design and bringing the elements together with quiet balance.
