This shawl reinterprets the classic Khatrast layout in an unusual way, using broad stripes to structure the composition. Each stripe carries a different design vocabulary: one features a trailing vine inspired by vintage kani shawls, while the other is scattered with extremely tiny floral butis marked by softly curved bases. The contrast between the flowing vine and the miniature motifs gives the surface a layered visual rhythm. Executing such small-scale florals demands exceptional control and precision, highlighting the technical skill behind the embroidery.

Craft: Fine needlepoint hand embroidery.

Composition: 100% Pashmina, Undyed.

Size: 100 x 200 cms or 40 x 80 inches.

Care and Maintenance: Dry clean only. Warm iron.

The ends are finished in a hand-combed natural fringe.

Each piece bears the Kashmir Loom Signature in Farsi language, embroidered in the corner, a mark of our quality.
