The word "dordar" refers to a wide border in local terminology, used to identify various border widths. This classic ivory undyed pashmina shawl is embroidered with tonal colors, creating a soft all-over look. Several different blocks are mixed to create this design, featuring a wide open trellis-like border along the short ends, a fine kingri along the long ends, and buti motifs dotted all over the body of the shawl.
The shawl has a unisex appeal and works well worn as a voluminous scarf inside a jacket or open as a shawl.
