Kani Khatrast Hand Woven Pashmina Scarf Ivory Blue

Regular price Rs.70,000.00 INR

"Leherdar" refers to designs with undulating diagonal stripes, resembling waves called "Leher." While this shawl has a simple design, its timeless color combination and extra-large size create a beautiful drape for both men and women.

Undyed shades of natural and ivory pashmina are highlighted with a dusty navy. Though floral, the shawl has a unisex appeal, making it a versatile addition to your wardrobe.

The famous Kashmir shawls at the height of fashion in the late 18th and 19th centuries were woven in a fine twill tapestry technique called Kani. The technique gets its name from the small eyeless bobbin called Kan, used to weave the design into fabric. This exquisite technique survives today only in the Kashmir valley.
