Classic Mughal-inspired floral bouquets symmetrically arranged, adorn this beautiful masterpiece, handwoven to perfection by our skilled artisans. A rich charcoal base is gracefully embellished with warm peach flowers nestled in soft sage green foliage.
The famous Kashmir shawls that were at the height of fashion in the late 18th and 19th centuries were woven in a fine twill tapestry technique called Kani. The technique gets its name from the small eyeless bobbin called Kan, used to weave the design into fabric. This exquisite technique survives till today only in the Kashmir valley.
