Kani Muzamil Buti Hand Woven Pashmina Scarf Shadow

Regular price Rs.50,000.00 INR

Inspired by an early 18th-century Mughal shoulder mantle, our Muzamil Buti scarf features symmetrically arranged Mughal flowers. The rose, a significant motif in miniature paintings and textiles, takes center stage in this design. Vintage charm and unisex appeal make this scarf a conversation piece and a lux gift.

The famous Kashmir shawls that were at the height of fashion in the late 18th and 19th centuries were woven with a special technique. The pattern was woven as part of the shawl in a very fine twill tapestry technique known as Kani from the Kan which is a kind of stick pointed at each end around which the yarn is wrapped.
