Intricately embroidered paisleys are artfully arranged in a large circle at the center of this contemporary undyed natural pashmina shawl. The design layout draws inspiration from the renowned moon shawls of the Kashmir Valley. Moon shawls, also known as Chandar, were extremely popular when Kashmir shawls were exported to Europe in the 19th century and became a common export design.
