This shawl draws from the classic Chandar moon shawl design, a format long associated with the historic moon shawls of Kashmir. Here, the layout is reinterpreted in a simpler and more restrained composition, allowing the structure of the design to remain clear and balanced. Across the field, a delicate repeat of tiny motifs spreads evenly over the surface. Though small in scale, the motifs are worked with fine precision, lending the shawl a quiet intricacy that enriches the otherwise understated layout.

Craft: Kani, a double interlock twill tapestry weave.

Composition: 100% Pashmina.

Size: 100 x 200 cms or 40 x 80 inches.

Care and Maintenance: Dry clean only. Warm iron.

The ends are finished in a hand-combed natural fringe.

Each piece bears the Kashmir Loom signature in the Farsi language, embroidered in the corner, a mark of our quality.
