This wool choga, with its dense embroidery in a classic noir-et-blanc contrast, is a true statement piece. Stylised paisleys adorn the neckline and corners, while a tall buta graces the hem, bringing harmony and elegance to its bold design.
Inspired by a vintage jacket from our founders’ collection, this was among our first wool aari choga designs. It marked a turning point in our efforts to revive the aari embroidery craft, which had long been confined to shawls and was losing ground to machine-made imitations.
